COLIPS runs a flagship conference International Conference on Asian Language Processing (IALP) annually. For details, please refer to the IALP page.

In addition, COLIPS also works with other organizations to host international conferences and workshops in Singapore frequently. The following are some of the events that COLIPS organized in the past years. 

15th Annual Conference of the International Speech Communication Association (Interspeech 2014)
14-18 Sep 2014, Singapore.

INTERSPEECH is the world's largest and most comprehensive conference on issues surrounding the science and technology of spoken language processing, both in humans and in machines. Interspeech 2014 was held in Singapore EXPO on 14-18 Sep, 2014.

International Symposium on Chinese Spoken Language Processing (ISCSLP 2014)
12-14 Sep  2014, Singapore

The 9th International Symposium on Chinese Spoken Language Processing (ISCSLP 2014) will be held in Singapore on 12-14 Sep , collocated with Interspeech 2014. ISCSLP 2014 is organized by Oriental Languages Information Processing Society (COLIPS), Special Interest Group on Chinese Spoken Language Processing (SIG-CSLP) of International Speech and Communication Association (ISCA), and IEEE Signapore SMC Chapter.

The Chinese and Oriental Languages Information Processing Society (COLIPS) is glad to host AIRS 2013 in Singapore, a well communicated and top conference city in Asia, from 9 to 11 December. 

The Speaker and Language Recognition Workshop (Odyssey 2012) 
25-28 June 2012, Singapore

Odyssey 2012: The Speaker and Language Recognition Workshop will be hosted by COLIPS in Singapore on 25-28 June 2012. Odyssey’12 is an ISCA Tutorial and Research Workshop held in cooperation with the ISCA Speaker and Language Characterization SIG. The need for fast, efficient, accurate, and robust means of recognizing people and languages is of growing importance for commercial, forensic, and government applications. The aim of this workshop is to continue to foster interactions among researchers in speaker and language recognition as the successor of previous successful events held in Martigny (1994), Avignon (1998), Crete (2001), Toledo (2004), San Juan (2006), Stellenbosch (2008) and Brno (2010).  

25th Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC 25) 
16-18 December  2011, Singapore

The 25th Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC 25) will be held in Singapore on December 16-18, 2011, hosted by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the Chinese and Oriental Languages Information Processing Society (COLIPS). The PACLIC series of conferences emphasize the synergy of theoretical analysis and processing of language, and provides a forum for researchers in different fields of language study in the Pacific-Asia region to share their findings and interests in the formal and empirical study of languages. Organized under the auspices of PACLIC Steering Committee, PACLIC 25 will be the latest instalment of our long standing collaborative efforts among theoretical and computational linguists in the Pacific-Asia region.
